The Greater Sandusky Partnership, Huron County Growth Partnership, Ottawa County Improvement Corporation, Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation, and Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership hosted a five-county Creative Financing Roundtable on October 18th, providing local businesses with valuable information on creative financing tools to support expansion and relocation projects.

The roundtable was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Neeley Center, located at 2830 Napoleon Road in Fremont, Ohio. The free event welcomed business leaders and community stakeholders from across the region.
The agenda began with a welcome from Beth Hannam of the Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation, followed by an introduction to Eric Wobser of the Greater Sandusky Partnership. Featured speaker Rob McCarthy of Bricker Graydon led an in-depth discussion on the advantages and opportunities associated with leveraging Port Authorities in Ohio as a strategic financing tool.

Attendees also heard from a panel highlighting cross-county collaboration. Representatives from Ottawa and Erie Counties shared insights on their experience navigating a collaborative development project utilizing the Capital Lease Program through the Erie County Port Authority.
The event provided local businesses with practical knowledge, real-world examples, and valuable networking opportunities to better position themselves for future growth and investment.
