The Executive Board would like to announce the resignation of Ms. Jamie N. Beier Grant as Director of the Ottawa County Improvement Corporation, effective January 16, 2020. Jamie has accepted a position with The Montrose Group as Manager of Economic and Workforce Development, based out of Columbus, Ohio. She will remain an active resident of and advocate for Ottawa County.
In her 15-years of service as Director, Jamie has been instrumental in many new initiatives to improve the business community of Ottawa County, including over $800million in new business investment, leveraged in excess of $40million in financing and incentives for businesses, and contributed to a comprehensive workforce development program in Ottawa County. Ottawa County Improvement Corporation continues to be the lead economic development agency and is an integral contributor to many other aspects of Ottawa County economic activity. The Executive Board and staff would like to thank Jamie for her years of dedicated service to growing the mission of the Ottawa County Improvement Corporation and for her work in creating economic and workforce opportunities for the Ottawa County community.
The Executive Board is in the process of organizing a search team comprised of the Board of Trustees to seek out and identify the next Director for the Ottawa County Improvement Corporation.
