The Ottawa County and Sandusky County Safety Councils, in partnership with the Sandusky County Human Resources Management Association (SCHRMA), will be holding their 5th Safety Day at Terra State Community College. The event brings in over 250 attendees, including Safety Coordinators, Safety Service Officers, Safety Managers, Quality Control Managers, HR Managers, Safety Directors, from different types of industries such as agricultural, construction, education, health, hospitality, manufacturing and more.

Our Safety Day event offers the opportunity for individuals to attend a number of different safety-related sessions. In the past, session topics have included SHIELD Training, What to do in an Emergency, Health Effects of Marijuana Use, Hearing Protection, and OSHA Regulations for Non-Manufacturing Workplaces. The Vendor Fair will be available for all attendees.

Kickoff Breakfast

This years’ Keynote Speaker is Captain Louie Belluomini and K9-Star. Louie will speak about PTSD/TBI awareness and what to know about service dogs in the workplace. The Kickoff breakfast features a hot breakfast from Ole Zim’s Wagon Shed.

Vendor Fair

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with business representatives and learn about their products during lunch.
