OCIC has created a marketing campaign to support our Ottawa County small business community! We want to know if you are still open…offering services such as curbside pickup, take-out, delivery and online ordering. Please let us know and we’ll share your business via OCIC’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. Even if your business is temporarily closed, we’ll still share your business and promote it as a “See You Soon” post. With the stay at home order in place until May 1st, we want the public to know that you’re in operation and encourage Ottawa County residents to shop local.
Once we’ve shared your business through our social media posts, we’ll also “boost” that post for 1 day through Facebook and Instagram (as allowed by Facebook’s advertising policies) to reach more people (up to 3,000+) throughout Ottawa County. This is free to businesses who participate in the campaign.
UPDATE: Great news! We are are extending this campaign! Ohio’s stay at home order expired on May 1st and was followed by the new “Stay Safe Ohio” order in place until May 29th. As businesses begin to open back up, we want to continue to assist all of the small businesses in Ottawa County by informing the public that you’re in operation and encourage Ottawa County residents to shop local. Again, if your business is temporarily closed, we’ll still share your business and promote it as a “See You Soon” post. This campaign is on-going until further notice.
