WHERE TO START

The OCIC has a great relationship with Terra State’s SBDC Program. SBDC stands for Small Business Development Center. Their mission is to help people get into business, stay in business, and grow their business. Miranda Hoffman is Terra State’s SBDC Director/Certified Business Advisor who can assist you with your business growth needs. SBDC services include the following:

Small Business Basics

This is a FREE business seminar that will answer your questions about starting, buying, or expanding a small business. This seminar will take the confusion out of your efforts, and help you to avoid costly mistakes and unnecessary steps.

One-on-One Advising

This is for all types of businesses, regardless of product or service or where they are in their business life cycle, and is a legal and for profit business. All one-on-one’s are kept CONFIDENTIAL and are at no cost.

Advising Services

This includes Business Plan Financial Projections, Profitability and Sustainability Analysis, Business Development, Identify Sources of Capital, Market and Industry Research, and Strategic Business Planning.
