The Ottawa County Improvement Corporation (OCIC) held its annual “Experience Ottawa County” program on August 23rd at The Keys on Put-in-Bay, bringing local business leaders, community leaders, elected officials, and prospective business clients together to demonstrate that Ottawa County is an advantageous location to expand existing and relocate new business. Nearly 240 people gathered together throughout the day for professional development and business networking.
The event kicked off with a Professional Development Luncheon at the Catawba Island Club where an interactive discussion on the topic “Digital Empowerment for Business Leaders” addressed ways to embrace the digital world through online safety and awareness. A second luncheon was held at Twin Oast Brewing, as well as a Lake Shore Tour, for site selectors, developers and local business leaders. The luncheon was filled with casual conversation about the competitive advantages of doing business in Ottawa County. Afterwards, attendees made their way over to Put-in-Bay at The Keys for the strolling dinner.
